Dave started in full time camping in 1987. Dave, an Ohio native, graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Education and an M.S. in Educational Leadership. Dave co-directed YMCA Camp Cosby in Alabama for six years. Dave is married to Margie and has one daughter,  Marlett.

A graduate of Oklahoma City University. Brad comes to Thunderbird with a wealth of experience which includes: Camp Olympia in Texas, running his own software company, running a private camp in Louisiana, and teaching school in Houston, TX. Brad is married to Virginia and has two girls, Claire and Mary Elizabeth.

Kaye first came to camp in 1977 as a cabin counselor and tennis activity chief, and has served in various capacities for the past 30 summers: as Girls' Head Counselor from 1978-82, and since as CIT Director, adding Staff Development as an area of responsibility during the last two summers. Kaye's husband, Bill has also serves at camp as the Waterfront Director. Kaye and Bill have two daughters, Kris and Katie, and reside in Clemson, SC.

Alison is originally from Willoughby Ohio and a graduate of Eastern Michigan University. Alison has worked at Thunderbird for 11 years and directs the After School Program. Alison is a avid Cleveland Indians fan and is member of the Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan club.

She comes to Thunderbird having served 4 years as the Indian Guides Director for the Charlotte YMCA. Prior to coming to the YMCA Susan taught elementary school for 11 years with Mecklenburg Catholic Diocese and Mecklenburg County. Susan is a Thunderbird Alumnus as member of the 1989 Thunderbird EEC and 1990 summer staff. Susan has an extensive Native American peace pipe collection and is a charter member of the Association for the Advancement of Labrador Retrievers.
