Located just 17 miles from Charlotte, N.C., Camp Thunderbird has nationally recognized water programs, including wakeboarding and water skiing. We offer 28 land activities including horseback riding, skating, high and low ropes courses, sports, and crafts. Our resident camp provides boys and girls an exciting, safe experience that they will remember for a lifetime. American Camping Association accreditation and a 4:1 camper-to-counselor ratio creates an environment that helps children grow in spirit, mind, and body.
